this was our last practice,

Chris had to go away at 12 so he could help other groups's performance.

yeah i think that means we are ready, since he just walked out~ :-)

 

man, what a day~

we started all good even monique's and colin's song, but to get there ...was just bit of a hassel...

i got really annoyed because it was our last practice but we weren't really repecting each other,

 

Playing over people's talking, disturbing tunning... playing different songs that aren't necessary...LOL

 

I mean, I don't mind in the beginning of semester or something.. .but this is our last practice.

oh well... hope we can just get over this.

Well, what can I say, we are all ready to go, but sound was not tight, everybody was relaxed and too comfortable, Alisha was trying to get everybody to work as a team, but didn't work that well.

 

playing while others are talking, never listen, never co-operate. LOL

just like firstday...don't know what happened, but we were better...

anyway we practice Monique's song but it didn't go well, and hannah did not come so we couldn't play many songs, and bunkers bass guitar needs to be fixed. lower E string sounds wierd.

overall i will give 2/10 today.. lol

yeah long time no see Chris~

 

so I was late today, coz i thought we stared at 1 and stuff.. but i had it wrong lol

but we practiced alot of songs, thanks to Chris everybody is shaping up again!

but there are some major changes to umm butterfly song,

 

i think Alisha is struggling because drum and guitar swap the position,

so new drummer Colin and new guitarist Daniel.

i don't mind really , i am just sticking to my chord progression. lol

Yeah~ we back in Uni! yeah!

everyone got back to uni and they have not forgotten anything!

We played our songs, and this time we figured out the order of our performance,

 

so it was like this

 

1. stay

2.butterfly

3.chocolate panda

4. unforseen time

5. blues

6.come on girl

 

we managed to play up to 4 songs then we had to stop, because bass was not working.. so we had to use 3 synth keys lol

 

but it was okay overall

Okay, my final posting for Ipad recording assignment, man itwas a long day,

i have gathered all the songs and e-mailed it to myself. funny how UNITEC server does not allow Quickvoice to send e-mail...lol so i had to go home and do it. lol but all good.

I have used logic to organized the sounds, they are all in great quality. 

please have a listen to it and comment on it.

basically, story of the song is, I woke up in the morning raining...hoped on my car drive to some place.. the end. :-) and a little suprise for Sam at the end~..kk

4. Using Ipad to record

Today is the most! annoying day ever!

I was on my way to pick my dad up from airport, so i was waiting to get that airport sound and stuff.

and when i got there, I realized that i didn't have Ipad with me! i left it at home!! arrrr!!

but from that frustration,  I found some great samples, I never realized that I had it in me!

Hmm, I actually ran out of Idea,

because some people are doing the sound of their cars or like their singing or like bird or water sound

hmmm but I want something different! hmm

KK i know what I am gonna do!!! But I can;t really tell you on this Typepad!

because someone might steal my idea.

by the way Qucikvoice App should get like bluetooth functions or Wi-Fi stuff.

sending individual sound file to e-mail is just... lol

and 4mb limited... LOL!!!

2. Using Ipad to record

Okay Friday!!!!

Oh I really don't like Friday, not that i hate class,

it's just one hour and stuff.

hmm But lucky!

I brought my Ipad with me haha!

So i started to record random as sound as possible, because more random the sound, better marks guess!!

Okay, So i recorded people playing on the MIDI keyboard and also few laughter and stuff

Ooh I also got Rachael's voice as well, But i don't think i should use it... i didn;t even ask her if i could record.. that's like against copyright right? and also privacy acts? lol

anyway this music is going to be so cool when it's ready!!!
